Canadian (1999 / 2000)

Canadian was the last name used by the Canadian aviation giant Canadian Pacific (CP Air), and in 1999 it was already facing its very last years, deprived of some of its previous glory but still a strong name in Asian, South Pacific and South American routes. As you know, the airline was taken over by Air Canada some years later. Anyhow, it had been a founding member of the Oneworld alliance and in this late 1999 brochure it was welcoming Finnair and Iberia as new members.

Dinar (2001)

Dinar was a regional airline from Argentina which made a strong point on the excellence and quality of its onboard menus and service.

The MD-83 on the cover was leased from Crossair and as you can see they were using a modified livery  based on  original painting scheme used by the Swiss carrier.

Air France (1986 / 1987)

Another great example of how Air France in the late 80's was covering the whole world, as well as other European carriers did. Its coverage was actually somewhat "smaller" because Air Inter was providing domestic services and its private rival UTA was the great French intercontinental carrier at the time. As we know, the three carriers merged some years later giving birth to the current AF as we know it today. Of course, network hubs were way different back then and many destinations were clearly underserved by today standards. As a single example, the Beijing - Paris route had a few flights per week only and they were direct flights with an intermediate stop.
